Kathy is a native of Wiilliamsport, Pennsylvania. She began dancing at the age of 4 at Jean Stryker Dance Studio. While in highschool she student taught and began giving dance lessons in the basement of her parent's home at the age of 17.

Each year Kathy honors the memory of her mother who lost her battle with breast cancer by donating the proceeds from her annual recital to the American Cancer Society. To make a donation to help in the fight for breast cancer, click the pink ribbon.
As a newlywed, Kathy moved to Clearfield, Pennsylvania where her desire to teach dance continued to grow. In 1983 she established Kathy's School of Dance and 23 years later, her business has grown to 125 students accomplishing many championships in both local and regional competitions. She is a certified member of Professional Dance Teachers Association (PDTA) and USA Gymnastics.
